Welcome to our blog, where you can access everything you want to know about Stephanie Rhodes-Bosch and the horses of SRB Equestrian.
This is the perfect place to be if you want to contact Stephanie about lessons and horses for sale, find competition results, or figure out where SRB Equestrian is headed next!
Stephanie, who was born in 1988 in Edmonton, Alberta, began eventing in British Columbia, Canada. Growing up with mentors such as Rebecca Howard, Lynne Larsen, Chelan Kozak and Eric Ferrier, Stephanie always had a passion for the sport of eventing and actively participated in the British Columbia Young Riders program. The BCYR program enabled Stephanie to learn what eventing was really about, and ultimately lead to her decision to follow BCYR Alum Rebecca Howard to the Eastern United States to pursue the top levels of eventing.
After a year and a half as a working student at the busy, world class event facility that is The Fork, Norwood, NC, Stephanie brought home the Bronze medal at the North American Young Rider Championships CCI 2*. Moving on to be a part of David O’Connor’s program in hopes of riding for Canada proved to be the perfect plan. David guided Stephanie and Port Authority to top finishes at many Advanced Horse Trials, including a win at Richland Park HT in 2010, and then top finishes at The Fork CIC 3*, Jersey Fresh and Fair Hill CCI 3*s, as well as a 5th Place Finish at the 2010 Rolex Kentucky 3 Day Event and a 9th Place Individual and Team Silver Medal at the 2010 World Equestrian Games.
With the education that Stephanie has received from Rebecca and David and all of the other mentors in her life, she is now moving towards building her business.
SRB Equestrian Sports aims to produce event horses for competition and sale, with the goal of recruiting a string of top horses to campaign towards 3 and 4* events around the world. Stephanie’s dream is to contribute to success for Canada at the Olympic Games, World Championships and Pan American Games for many years to come.
Stephanie invites you to become a part of the Team at SRB Equestrian Sports as a Sponsor, Student, Owner, Clinic Host or Blog Follower. Always feel free to contact Stephanie at srbequestriansports@gmail.com or 571.420.3351 for information on how to join the team.
